Kwasniewski Addresses NATO Workshop In Warsaw

Warsaw, June 20 (RFE/RL) - Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski has reiterated Poland's desire to become a full member of NATO.

Kwasniewski's comments came in an address today in Warsaw before participants of the 13th international NATO workshop on political and military decision-making.

In Kwasniewski's words "NATO is the key element of stability in Europe."

Polish armed forces are currently participating in the NATO-led peace implementation force (IFOR) in Bosnia.
