Moscow, June 26 (RFE/RL) -- Russian ultranationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky criticised President Boris Yeltsin and his Communist rival Gennady Zyuganov today who face a run off next week in the final round of presidential elections.
Zhirinovsky told a news conference "Both teams are rotten, there is nothing to choose from and the Russian people are bound to lose."
Zhirinovsky finished fifth in round one of Russia's presidential elections.
Last week he said he would tell his supporters not to vote for the Communists in the July 3rd runoff.
