Prague, 4 September 1996 (RFE/RL) - Bulgaria's Defense Minister Dimitri Pavlov signed a military cooperation agreement with Armenian Defense Minister Vazgen Sarkissian yesterday, reports RFE/RL's Armenian Service.
The two ministers said the aim of the agreeement is to foster what they called the historic friendship between the two nations and to contribute to international peace and stability, the two ministers said from the Armenian capital, Yerevan.
Sarkissian indicated that the agreement would foster cooperation in military training and production.
