Moscow, 18 February 1997 (RFE/RL) - Russian Defense Minister Igor Rodionov is holding talks in Moscow today with Uzbekistan's Defense Minister Rustam Akhmedov. Russia's Defense Ministry tells Interfax news agency that no documents are expected to be signed during Akhmedov's visit. The two ministers are expected to discuss bi-lateral military and military-technical cooperation, and CIS defense-related concerns.
