Sofia, 24 July 1997 (RFE/RL) - Our correspondent in Sofia reports Bulgarian Energy Committee Chairman Georgy Stoilov was replaced today by Ivan Silyashky.
Stoilov attracted attention earlier this year by becoming the first Bulgarian official to support warnings by international experts about the environmental dangers arising from the nuclear plant New Kozluduy.
Our correspondent reports that all directors of the state-owned electric complany were also dismissed today.
