Bucharest, 18 September 1997 (RFE/RL) - Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ciorbea has ruled out the possibility of a Cabinet re-shuffle, saying any "speculation on the theme is premature."

There has been widespread speculation recently in Romanian media -- some citing coalition members -- of a major government change, which might include Ciorbea himself.
