Washington, 6 October 1997 (RFE/RL) - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that an economic delegation from Belarus will come to Washington during the week of November 3 for a series of meetings with members of the Belarus-U.S. Working Group.
The Belarus-U.S. Working Group was established by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce this past spring to sustain an informal dialogue between the two nations on economic matters.
The American Chamber says the Belarusian delegation will be headed by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Mikhail Marinich. Other members will include the First Deputy Minister of Finance and the President of the Belarus Chamber of Commerce.
