Moscow, 11 October 1999 (RFE/RL) -- The Kremlin announced this
morning that Russian President Boris Yeltsin has been discharged from
Moscow's Central Clinical hospital after receiving weekend treatment for
the flu. Interfax quotes spokesman Dmitri Yakushkin as saying's Yeltsin
temperature has now returned to normal. The 68-year-old president has been
taken to his Gorky-9 residence outside Moscow to complete his recovery.
