Mahilyou, 20 June 2002 (RFE/RL) -- A department chief of Belarus's National Security Council was reported dead today after falling from the 10th floor of a hotel. The Interfax news agency quoted a police report as saying that Ihar Holubeu accidentally fell from a balcony when he tried to catch falling papers. Doctors said his death was instantaneous.
