Yerevan, 28 December 2002 (RFE/RL) -- Tigran Naghdalian, the head of Armenia's television and radio broadcasting board, died today after being shot outside his parent's home in Yerevan by unknown assailants. Naghdalian was rushed to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Naghdalian worked as a stringer for RFE/RL's Armenian Service from 1994 to 1997.
No motive for the killing has been established. The perpetrators remain at large.
