The Agency France Press news agency quoted an unnamed U.S. military spokesman as saying three soldiers with the 1st Armored Division were wounded when their convoy was attacked on the southern outskirts of Baghdad late yesterday.

AFP reported a fourth soldier from the 4th Infantry Division was wounded earlier yesterday when his convoy came under fire from rocket-propelled grenades at Balad, north of Baghdad.
