MONDAY, November 1:

Belarus: EU Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy John Dalli makes a visit to Minsk (to November 2).

Germany/Russia: German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle visits Moscow (to November 2).

Iraq: Baghdad International Fair with a large group of international companies opens (to November 10).

Russia: Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visits disputed Kurile Islands.


TUESDAY, November 2:

Afghanistan: Istanbul hosts the fourth regional economic cooperation conference on Afghanistan (to November 3).

Azerbaijan: Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul visits Baku (to November 4).

Belarus: German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle and Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski visit Minsk.

Kosovo: Kosovo's parliament is set to convene to debate a no-confidence motion against government in Pristina.

Russia: Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov takes part in Northern Dimension ministerial meeting‎ in Oslo.

Russia/NATO: NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen visits Moscow (to November 3).


WEDNESDAY, November 3:

Armenia: Yerevan hosts the first Armenian-United Arab Emirates (UAE) business forum (to November 4).

Iran/Georgia
: Iran's Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki visits Georgia to sign a visa-free agreement between the two countries (to November 4).

Ukraine: An IMF mission begins its visit to Kyiv to discuss further reforms (to November 15).


THURSDAY, November 4:

Kazakhstan: Astana hosts the seventh meeting of an Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission.

UN
: United Nations launches its 20th Human Development Report.

World: 60th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights.


SATURDAY, November 6:
