Ethnic Tatar dresses, footwear, and traditional caps are displayed in Kazan this month ahead of the international sports competition known as Universiade 2013. Some 45 cities across Russia brought their collections. Museums in Tatarstan also contributed to the event. The oldest showpieces date to the 18th century.
