Artisans from all over Moldova are taking part in the 25th National Pottery Fair in the village of Iurceni in the Nisporeni region. The fair includes a competition to name this year's master ceramicist. Visitors are able to enjoy traditional music and dance and to sample Moldovan specialties like sarmale -- a dish of stuffed cabbage or grape leaves. Photos by RFE/RL's Moldovan Service.
