Officials have said that Pakistan has arrested three suspects linked to a Pakistani-American accused in New York of the attempted car bombing of Times Square in May.
Operations police chief in Islamabad, Bani Amin, told the French AFP news agency that the three had transferred money to the car-bombing suspect.
The official said a formal case has been lodged against the three suspects, adding that they were detained in Islamabad two weeks ago and had been interrogated for several days.
