The British Foreign Office has confirmed that there was an attack involving a British Embassy car in Yemen.
A Foreign Office spokesman said one embassy staffer suffered minor injuries.
Earlier, Yemeni police and witnesses said a British diplomatic vehicle was targeted by a rocket-propelled grenade that wounded three people in the capital, Sana'a.
On April 26, a suicide bomber attacked the British ambassador's convoy in Sana'a, wounding three bystanders. That attack was later claimed by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), the group's local branch.
In a separate incident in Sana'a today, a security guard opened fire inside a compound of Austrian oil and gas company OMV. A Frenchman, reportedly an OMV executive, died after he was shot in the ensuing exchange of gunfire.
