Afghan Police Discover Mass Graves After Militant Attack

Bodies of at least 36 victims of a recent attack claimed by Islamic State militants in the village of Mirza Olang in northern Afghanistan were reburied on August 16. Security forces were searching for more mass graves in the province of Sar-e Pul, where at least 62 people have been confirmed dead in the attack last week against Shi'ite Muslims. (Reuters)
