Two NATO Troops, 34 Militants Killed In Afghanistan


The NATO-led force in Afghanistan says separate attacks have killed two of its troops in different parts of the country.

The U.S.-led military coalition in Afghanistan says the NATO troops were killed on June 15 in the south and east of the country where most of the fighting is taking place this summer.

No other details were released.

Separately, in London, the British Defense Ministry said one of its soldiers was killed on June 15 in southern Helmand Province.

Meanwhile, Mokhlis Afghan, a spokesman for the eastern province of Paktika, said a two-day security operation in the province has left 34 insurgents and two policemen dead.
