Two NATO soldiers have been killed in a suspected militant rocket attack in eastern Afghanistan.
An Afghan official told the AFP news agency that six other soldiers serving with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force were wounded in the attack on their base in Nari district of eastern Kunar Province.
The NATO-led force has confirmed that two service members were killed in an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan.
The nationalities of the soldiers were not immediately available.
The latest attack came a day after gunmen dressed in Afghan police uniforms and wearing suicide explosives vests stormed a government compound in the southwestern province of Farah, killing seven people and wounding 12 others.
So far this year, 154 NATO members have been reported killed in the Afghan conflict.
