Roadside Bombs Kill Two NATO Soldiers In Afghanistan

NATO says two soldiers serving with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) were killed by roadside bombs in Afghanistan.

NATO said in a statement that one of the soldiers died in a roadside bombing in the south on December 1, while the second died in a similar attack in the east today.

The military did not disclose the nationalities of the deceased.

More than 670 foreign soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan so far this year, the bloodiest since the U.S.-led operation to oust the Taliban regime began in 2001.

There are currently over 150,000 foreign troops in Afghanistan.
