Five people, including two soldiers, were wounded on August 16 in an explosion that damaged a police vehicle outside Peshawar, the capital of Pakistan's northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, local authorities said. According to a police representative, the blast was caused by a remote-controlled bomb, but no one has claimed responsibility for the attack. Six people have been arrested in connection with the incident and an investigation is ongoing.
