Police in Bangladesh have arrested the owner of the building that collapsed last week killing more than 350 people.
Officials said Muhammad Sohel Rana was arrested at the Indian border on April 28.
The announcement was also made by loudspeaker at the site of the collapsed building in a Dhaka suburb where people cheered and clapped.
Rana has been on the run since the building collapsed on April 24.
Rescuers are still trying to pull survivors out of the rubble of the eight-story building, which contained several garment factories.
It was the deadliest tragedy in Bangladesh's garment industry which is worth $20 billion annually.
The collapse and previous disasters have focused attention at poor working conditions in Bangladesh garment factories which produce clothing for top international brands.
