Construction crews have stopped trying to remove part of one of the few remaining stretches of the Berlin Wall following protests.
Property developers wanted to remove 20 meters of the famous East Side Gallery to build a road to a new luxury apartment complex nearby.
Work had to be halted on March 1 after dozens of protesters turned up at the site.
The Berlin Wall was nearly entirely removed after the fall of communism in 1989.
The open-air East Side Gallery was set up months later on the longest-remaining stretch of the wall and contains murals and graffiti painted by about 120 international artists.
It is one of Berlin's major tourist attractions, with more than 1 million people visiting it each year.
