Bomb Kills At Least Five In Iraq

FALLUJA, Iraq -- Reports say two bombs exploded in a crowded central area of the Iraqi city of Falluja today, killing at least five people and wounding at least 10 others.

An Iraqi Interior Ministry source said the detonation of a car bomb killed police officers who had gone to the scene with a bomb disposal unit, and moments later a second car bomb exploded nearby, killing several civilians.

Falluja, located in Iraq's mainly Sunni western Anbar province about 50 kilometers west of Baghdad, saw some of the fiercest fighting following the U.S. invasion in 2003.
