A Ukrainian man already detained in Britain over the bombing of mosques is also now accused of the murder of an elderly Muslim man, also in Britain.
The 25-year-old suspect was arrested July 18, along with another Ukrainian man, 22, on terrorism charges.
Authorities have linked the suspects to explosions at mosques near the city of Birmingham, one in June and another this month. No injuries were reported in those blasts.
Police said on July 20 that the 25-year-old suspect was also now accused in the stabbing death of Mohammed Saleem, 75, in Birmingham in April.
Police said the murder was being treated as an act of terrorism.
Several attacks on Muslim buildings have occurred in Britain since a soldier was killed on a London street in May, in a suspected Islamist militant attack.
