MONDAY, November 22:

China/Russia: Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao visits St. Petersburg (to November 24).

EU/Russia: Brussels hosts a high-level conference to mark the 10th anniversary of the EU-Russia Energy Dialogue.

Russia/Belarus: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov visits Minsk (to November 23).

Russia/Ukraine: Head of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill visits Kyiv (to November 23).

Ukraine: Brussels hosts an Ukraine-EU Summit.

TUESDAY, November 23:

EU: Eastern Partnership ministerial meeting begins in Brussels.

World: CPJ International Press Freedom Awards 2010 ceremony held in New York.


WEDNESDAY, November 24:

Armenia/Turkmenistan: Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian begins official visit to Ashgabat (to November 25).

Serbia: EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule pays an official visit to Belgrade.

Tajikistan: Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) — Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan — holds a prime minister-level meeting in Dushanbe (to November 25).

Ukraine: Israeli President Shimon Peres visits Kyiv (to November 25).


THURSDAY, November 25:

Afghanistan
: Afghan Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul is scheduled to visit Moscow.

Iraq: Basra International Oil and Natural Gas Conference opens (to November 28).

Kazakhstan: London hosts a conference on Kazakhstan and the future of the OSCE.

Russia/Germany: Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visits Berlin, meets German Chancellor Angela Merkel (to November 26).

UN: International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.


FRIDAY, November 26:

Black Sea region: The Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) - Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine - holds a foreign ministers’ meeting in Thessaloniki.

Russia/Ukraine: Russian President Dmitry Medvedev meets his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych in Moscow.


SUNDAY, November 28:

Moldova: Parliamentary elections.

Russia: Russian Economic and Financial Forum in Germany opens in Munich (to November 29).
