MONDAY, July 4:

Balkans: Trial of former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic resumes in The Hague.

Russia/NATO: Russian President Dmitry Medvedev meets with NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen in Sochi.

Ukraine: Trial of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko resumes in Kyiv.


TUESDAY, July 5:

Armenia/Russia: Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian pays an official visit to Moscow (to July 6).

Kyrgyzstan: Kyrgyzstan for the first time hosts Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) military exercises (to July 8).


WEDNESDAY, July 6:

Azerbaijan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov visits the Vatican and France (to July 7).

Iran/Iraq: Baghdad hosts a meeting of the Iran-Iraq Economic Commission, chaired by Iranian First Vice President Mohammed Reza Rahimi and Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

Kazakhstan: Day of Astana.

OSCE: OSCE Parliamentary Assembly opens in Belgrade (to July 10).

Russia: Sochi hosts 60th meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of CIS countries, chaired by Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.

Serbia/Bosnia-Herzegovina: Serbian President Boris Tadic pays an official visit to Sarajevo.


THURSDAY, July 7:

Afghanistan/Pakistan: U.S. House Intelligence Committee holds hearing on Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Belarus/Azerbaijan: Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich visits Baku (to July 8).

Georgia/NATO: Georgia and NATO co-host a conference titled “Emerging Security Challenges” in Tbilisi (to July 8).

Ukraine: The Atlantic Council hosts a discussion titled "Ukraine's Future: Challenges and Impact of Governance in Ukraine."

UN/Cyprus: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon hosts Cyprus reunification talks in Geneva.


FRIDAY, July 8:

Balkans: Croatia Summit 2011 opens in Dubrovnik (to July 9).

Belarus: Twentieth "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" international arts festival opens (to July 14).

Russia/Azerbaijan: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to visit Baku.


SUNDAY, July 10:
