MONDAY, February 20:

Azerbaijan/WTO: Azerbaijani officials begin talks in Geneva to join the World Trade Organization (to February 24).

Iran/IAEA: A delegation of the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency headed by IAEA Deputy Director-General Herman Nackaerts visits Iran (to February 21).

Macedonia: The UN envoy in the name-issue talks between Macedonia and Greece, Matthew Nimetz, visits Skopje (to February 21).

Russia/Ukraine: Russian Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin meets with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in Kyiv.

UN: World Day of Social Justice.

TUESDAY, February 21:

Belarus: The trial of Syarhey Kavalenka, a prominent opposition activist charged with violating probation rules, to begin in the Pershamayski District Court in Vitsyebsk.

Georgia: Georgia's richest man, Bidzina Ivanishvili, plans to present his Georgian Dream political coalition during a press-conference in Tbilisi.

Kosovo/Serbia: European Union-brokered talks between Serbia and Kosovo are set to resume in Brussels.

Russia: A group of 26 countries vehemently opposed to the EU's aviation-emissions-trading scheme meet in Moscow to discuss a plan of action.

UN: International Mother Language Day.
