MONDAY, July 23:

Armenia/Russia: Russian State Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin visits Yerevan (to July 24).

EU: Foreign Affairs Council Meeting opens in Brussels (to July 24).

EU: Brussels hosts the Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers meeting (to July 24).

Italy/Russia: Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti visits Moscow.

Ukraine: Trial against former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is set to continue in Kharkiv. (NOTE: The trial has reportedly been postponed).

Serbia: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visits Belgrade.

TUESDAY, July 24:

EU: General Affairs Council Meeting opens in Brussels.

EU/Macedonia: Brussels hosts the Stabilization and Association Council meeting.

Iran: Istanbul hosts another round of talks between Iran and world powers over Iran's nuclear program.

Kosovo: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visits Pristina.


Macedonia: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visits Skopje.

World: Geneva hosts the World Trade Organization General Council meeting (to July 26).

THURSDAY, July 26:

Bosnia-Herzegovina: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visits Sarajevo and Srebrenica.

Russia/Vietnam: Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang visits Russia (to July 30).

Serbia: The new government to be elected at the session of the Serbian parliament.

Serbia/Russia: Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic visits Moscow, meets with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Ukraine/Russia: Russian Patriarch Kirill visits Kyiv (to July 28).

FRIDAY, July 27:

Russia/Cyprus: Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis pays a working visit to Moscow.

Russia/Japan: Japanese Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba visits Russia.

Sebia/EU: Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic is scheduled to meet with EU High Representative Catherine Ashton in Brussels.

World: Summer Olympic Games 2012 begin in London (to August 12).

SUNDAY, July 29:

Ukraine/Russia: Ukraine and Russia hold joint naval parade in Sevastopol.
