Moldova: OSCE holds a training seminar on Internet media for journalists from Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine in Chisinau.

EU/Russia: European Parliament in Strasbourg to discuss EU-Russia trade relations following Russia's accession to the WTO (to October 26).

EU/Serbia: European Parliament in Strasbourg to discuss procedures for applying the EC-Serbia Stabilization and Association Agreement and the EC-Serbia Interim Agreement.

FRIDAY, October 26:

EU: The winner of the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought 2012 to be announced in Strasbourg.

EU: European Parliament in Strasbourg to discuss the recent elections in Belarus and Georgia.

EU/Pakistan: The European Parliament to discuss and vote on a resolution on discrimination against girls in Pakistan, in particular the case of Malala Yousafzai.
