MONDAY, September 23:
Azerbaijan: Baku hosts military training of Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Georgian personnel on protection of oil and gas pipelines (to September 27).
Azerbaijan/Iran: Members of the Iranian parliament are scheduled to visit Baku.
Iran/Russia: A ceremony is expected to be held in which Iran will take control of the Russian-built nuclear power station in Bushehr.

Kazakhstan: The prime ministers of Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan attend the Supreme Eurasian Council meeting in Astana (to September 25).
Russia: Salekhard hosts international forum titled "The Arctic: Territory of dialogue."
UN: General debate of the 68th session of the General Assembly begins in New York (to October 1).
WEDNESDAY, September 25:
Balkans: The European Policy Center in Brussels hosts a discussion titled "The future of the western Balkans and the role of Turkey."
Belarus/Russia: Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Belarusian counterpart, Mikhail Myasnikovich, are expected to meet in Astana.
Kazakhstan: International tourism exhibition Astana Leisure 2013 opens (to September 27).

GUAM/UN: A joint meeting of the GUAM Foreign Ministers Council begins in New York within the framework of the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly.
Iran/UN: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is due to meet the six international mediators in a settlement of Iran’s nuclear program on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Russia: Sochi hosts International Investment Forum 2013 (to September 29).
FRIDAY, September 27:
Iran: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran are expected to meet for talks in Vienna.
UN: World Tourism Day.
SATURDAY, September 28:
UN/U.S./Russia: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon holds a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to discuss crisis in Syria.
