MONDAY, November 18:

Armenia/Russia: Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian meets with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow to discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Customs Union issues.

Azerbaijan: Trial of opposition leaders Tofig Yagublu and Ilgar Mammadov opens in the provincial town of Sheki.

EU: European Union's Foreign Affairs Council meeting opens in Brussels focusing on the Eastern Partnership, Bosna-Herzegovina, China, and migration issues in the Mediterranean.

Kyrgyzstan/South Korea: Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev makes an official visit to Seoul (to November 20).

Russia/Syria: Syrian government delegation visits Moscow to meet with Russian Foreign Ministry officials.

Ukraine/Azerbaijan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev makes an official visit to Kyiv.


TUESDAY, November 19:

Armenia/Azerbaijan: A meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Serzh Sarkisian and Ilham Aliyev, is scheduled to be held in Vienna.

Belarus: Belarusian Foreign Minister Uladzimer Makei visits Moscow, meets with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

EU: European Union's General Affairs Council meeting opens in Brussels.


WEDNESDAY, November 20:

Iran: Nuclear talks between six world powers (Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States, and Germany) and Iran resumes in Geneva (to November 22).

Caspian Region: Moscow hosts a meeting on the legal status of the Caspian Sea (November 22).

Russia/CIS: St. Petersburg hosts a meeting of heads of government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Russia/Israel: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits Moscow, meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

UNICEF: Universal Children's Day.


THURSDAY, November 21:

Afghanistan: Tribal elders and other prominent figures from across Afghanistan are expected to gather for a Loya Jirga, or Grand Council, in Kabul.

Russia/Georgia: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin is expected to meet with the Georgian prime minister's special envoy for Russia, Zurab Abashidze, in Prague.

UK/Kazakhstan: Chatham House in London hosts a discussion with Kazakh Foreign Minister Irlan Idrisov on the Kazakhstan's foreign policy priorities.

UN: World Television Day.


FRIDAY, November 22:

Russia/Turkey: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visits Moscow, meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

UK/Russia/Afghanistan: Chatham House in London hosts a discussion titled "Russia's Preparations for ISAF Withdrawal."

U.S.: The 50th anniversary of the U.S. President John F. Kennedy's assassination in Dallas.


SATURDAY, November 23:

Georgia: Georgia marks the 10th anniversary of the Rose Revolution, which brought Mikheil Saakashvili to power.
