Volatile Chechnya Marks Third Anniversary Of 'Peace'

The Chechen Republic in Russia's restive North Caucasus region is marking a Day of Peace, commemorating the third anniversary of the officially announced end of counterterrorist operations in the volatile republic.

Events for the April 16 holiday in Chechnya include concerts, gatherings, and special ceremonies devoted to the day.
