The Croatian parliament voted on June 28 to recognize as genocide the Holodomor -- the starvation of millions in Ukraine in the 1930s under Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. It is estimated that up to 9 million people died as a result of executions, deportation, and starvation during the Holodomor. To read the original story by Current Time, click here.
