Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan has accused Germany of doing too little to support Turkey's bid to join the EU and of failing to recognize Turks' efforts to integrate in German society.

Erdogan's comments in the mass-circulation paper "Bild" came hours before a planned meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin for a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the labor pact that brought large numbers of Turkish workers to Germany.
