Few details have been released ahead of the visit, but talks could focus on energy issues.

Ankara has inked a deal with Russia's Rosatom to construct Turkey's first nuclear power plant.

Asked about the deal on March 15, Erdogan said he had no plans to suspend the deal.

Fears over nuclear energy have risen due to the threatened meltdown at a nuclear plant in Japan.
