Soccer world champions Germany have qualified for the knockout stages of Euro 2016 Group C after winning their final group matches. They will be joined in the next round by Poland.
Poland defeated already-eliminated Ukraine 1-0 in Marseille on June 21, while Germany beat Northern Ireland 1-0 in Paris.
Germany topped Group C with seven points, the same number as Poland, who finished second.
Northern Ireland finished third with three points and must wait and see if they qualify as a best third-placed team.
The Ukrainian team has zero points and not a single goal scored.
Ukraine coach Mikhail Fomenko said on June 21 that he would resign after the match against Poland.
"The game against Poland will be my last in this capacity,” Fomenko told Ukrainian TV network Football.
He had been in charge since 2012.
