Troops Face Off With Protesters In Ferguson, Missouri

More than 2,000 U.S. National Guard troops patrolled the town of Ferguson, Missouri, late on November 25 during a second night of protests over a grand jury's decision not to charge a police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black teenager. Police made dozens of arrests but the streets were calmer than the previous night, when protesters set fire to cars and buildings. Similar protests took place in cities across the United States.
