As the United Nations war crimes panel in The Hague delivers its verdict against former Bosnian Serb military chief Ratko Mladic on November 22, the tribunal's chief prosecutor has spoken of his worries about the fate of thousands of cases still pending from the war in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s. In an interview with RFE/RL's Balkan Service, Serge Brammertz talked about the lack of cooperation he sees among countries in the region as the tribunal hands over its work to national prosecutors after more than 20 years of operation in The Hague.
