Naeimeh Eshraghi, the granddaughter of the founder of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Khomeini , writes on Facebook:
"I snooped on the ballots of some of the voters. From the 10 ballots that I managed to see , 9 were for Hassan Rohani and one for Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf. Thank you, God. These are from the voting center where I voted and at the time when I was there. My goal is not to jump to any conclusions."

"A number of high profile politicians were not able to run in the election. Then there is the fact that parties have been banned, former leaders are in detention, all of that adds to a lack of space for people to conduct a free and fair election."

"Elections are free and fair not only because the vote has not been rigged but because the general environment for the campaign is also friendly towards people's expression of liberty."
