Iranian Athletes, Actors Quietly Honor People Killed In Protest Crackdown

A trophy-winning women's soccer team in Iran, along with celebrated actors, joined in nationwide acts of solidarity with the thousands who were killed by state security forces in a crackdown in January on protests. The Bam Khatoon soccer club players refused to show emotion while posing for a team picture, while actors at the Fajr Film Festival boycotted the awards ceremony.
