Police in Jordan say they have detained a man who threatened to blow himself up at the headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood in Amman.
A police official was quoted as saying a man wearing an explosive belt was arrested as he tried to enter the headquarters of the Islamic Action Front, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Muslim Brotherhood is Jordan's largest opposition group.
Islamic Action Front leaders confirmed the incident and said the man had threatened to blow up the party building because the party works against the king.
