Ethnic Albanians Protest Murder Case Ruling In Skopje

Several thousand ethnic Albanians held a peaceful protest July 11 in Skopje against a June 30 court decision that handed down life sentences to six alleged Albanian radicals for the murder of five Macedonians. On July 4, police in the Macedonian capital clashed with protesters demonstrating against the jailing of the Albanians on murder and terrorism charges. (RFE/RL's Balkan Service)
