There has been a second night of violent unrest amid ethnic tensions in Macedonia's capital, Skopje, as young ethnic Macedonians clashed with police in the city's Gjorce Petrov district.
Demonstrators gathered on the evening of May 20 to protest the murder of a 19-year-old ethnic Macedonian man, allegedly by an ethnic Albanian.
On May 19, a crowd of ethnic Macedonians went on a rampage in the neighborhood, damaging shops and cafes owned by ethnic Albanians.
Police confirmed the death leading to the protests is being investigated as a murder, and that a suspect has been arrested.
RFE/RL correspondents say the entire district was blocked by a strong police presence on May 20 as authorities used tear gas and stun grenades against demonstrators, injuring dozens.
Police have forced reporters, including RFE/RL correspondents, to erase video of the violence.
