More Than 100 Dead In Kenyan Pipeline Fire

Police in the Kenyan capital say more than 100 people burned to death after a petrol spill from a pipeline caught fire in a poor neighborhood of Nairobi.

It was unclear how many people were injured in the incident.

Police said a large number of people were trying to collect fuel from a leak in the gasoline pipeline when there was an explosion and the fuel caught fire.

It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion.

Residents were caught up in the blaze, and reporters said scores of charred bodies could be seen around the fire.

Firefighters were trying to contain the flames.
