A mobile phone designed for Muslims has gone on sale in Russia.
The chairwoman of Russia's Female Muslims' Union, Nailya Ziganshina, said on January 8 that the phone features the text of the Koran in Arabic and Russian.
It reminds the owner about prayer times, and shows the direction to Mecca.
The handset, made by Russian company BQ and assembled in China, costs 1,900 rubles ($31).
It is available in three colors: green, black and crimson.
Muslims make up some 15 percent of the population of mostly Orthodox Christian Russia.
