Afghan schoolgirls receive medical treatment outside a local hospital in Herat after being admitted for symptoms of poisoning. According to reports, more than 300 Afghan schoolgirls are suffering from suspected gas poisoning, the third incident in Herat in a week. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine if that was a deliberate act by sympathizers of the Taliban, who oppose women's education. (epa/Jalil Rezayee)
