Some are authoritarians and some are populists. Some are Euroskeptics and some are xenophobes. Some are just opportunists.
Many are anti-immigrant and most are antiglobalization.
They feed on the fears and resentments of the disaffected, the humiliated, and the disenfranchised. They sow division, discord, chaos, and intolerance.
And whether they're doing so willingly or unwittingly, they are nevertheless acting as pawns in Vladimir Putin's great game.
They're advancing the Kremlin leader's goal of tearing down Western liberal democracy.
They're the foot soldiers of the Putin International. And they're on the march.
