Buses From Ukraine And Poland Crash In Germany, Killing Nine

In Germany, at least nine people were killed on July 19 when several buses crashed into each other on a highway near the city of Dresden.

Police said the accident started when a Polish coach skidded into a passenger bus from Ukraine.

They say the Polish coach then crashed through the median, and collided head-on with a Polish minibus on the other side of the highway.

German media reports say seven of the dead had been traveling on the Polish minibus. Six of the dead were identified as Polish citizens

About 40 people were injured in the crash.

The accident happened at about 2 a.m. local time.
