A powerful bomb placed inside a restaurant in a market town in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region has killed at least five men and wounded 10 others.
Local government official Israr Khan says the attack happened in the Salarzai area of Bajur tribal region and that two pro-government elders were among the dead.
Salarzai lies about 50 kilometers northeast of Khar, the main town of Bajur.
No one initially claimed responsibility and the motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
The Pakistani Taliban have in the past targeted tribal elders who organize militia forces to fight the Taliban in Bajur.
